| SAT scores - Class of 2002
Seventy-six percent of Noblesville High School's Class of 2002 took the SAT test and recorded a composite score of 1024. The students' average score on the verbal section was 503, and on the math section was 521.
Of the 302 NHS students who took the SAT during one of the five national test dates, about 72 percent enrolled in a four-year institution and an additional 11 percent enrolled in a two-year institution.
Statewide, 62 percent of last year's seniors took the test and scored an average of 498 on verbal and 503 on math for a combined average score of 1,001.
Nationally, 46 percent of the class took the test and scored an average of 1020 - 504 on verbal and 516 on math.
