| T-shirt sales to benefit victims' children
The sale of shirts to raise money to help the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks continues.
The school district is selling denim-blue t-shirts with a United States of America logo on the front. One style features the American Flag and the words "The United States of America"; the other features a white star and the words "United States of America." Both styles feature a small American flag on the back with "Noblesville Schools, Noblesville, Indiana" in small print below the flag.
All proceeds from the sale will go to the 911 Victims Children's Fund that was established by Kiwanis International.
The shirts are appropriate for children and adults, including adults who do not have children in school. The shirts are being printed by HMC Screen Printing in downtown Noblesville.
Short-sleeve shirts are available in youth small (6-8) medium (10-12) and large (14-16) sizes and in adult sizes from small through XXL. Long-sleeve shirts are available in adult sizes only. (Short-sleeve shirts in XXXL may be ordered, but they will be navy blue, not denim blue.)
Short-sleeve shirts are $10 each and long-sleeve shirts are $15.
Samples of the shirt are on display at the Central Administration Office at 1775 Field Drive. Orders will be taken and payment is due at the time of the order.
Please contact Sharon Trisler, public relations coordinator for Noblesville Schools, if you have any questions. She may be reached by phone at 773-3171 or by e-mail at sharon_trisler@mail.nobl.k12.in.us.
The sale of these shirts will create a show of patriotism in our community, but more importantly, it will raise much needed money to help American children whose lives have been turned on end by terrorist attacks. We hope we can count on each family in our school district to support this fund-raiser.
